Clockwork Robot is a non-playable character in LEGO Worlds and can be downloaded free with the Ninjago Quarter Two Build Showcase Brick Build. Not to be confused with the Lady Robot.

Description[]

The Clockwork Robot is grey from head to toe, with a blue waist and red hands. It has large, bulbous blue eyes and a blue mouth with red and yellow pixels. Its upper body is covered with numerous dials and displays in black, blue, yellow and red, and it has a large clockwork key sticking out of its back that rotates constantly. It has a black and grey decoration at the waist showing ventilation slits. Its legs and feet have black patterns and rivets.

The Clockwork Robot has a number of unique idle animations, starting with holding Its arms stiffly out in front, then bending sharply at the waist as though deactivated. It slowly rises up again, then its entire body will rotate around several times while its head stays facing forward. It has a very stiff-legged gait and while walking or running, clanks and gear sounds can be heard. A double-jump will cause it to jump while its body spins around in the air with the head remaining still, then it lands on all fours.

Background[]

Clockwork Robot was released in 2012 as a standalone minifig in Series 6.

From Lego.com:

"Beep-boop! Who-wants-a-hug?"

The Clockwork Robot just wants to be loved. He may have started out as a simple toy, but somewhere along the way his little ticking heart took on a life of its very own. Now that he can walk and talk and think (as long as somebody remembers to keep his key wound up), he’s hoping to find his true place in the big LEGO® world.

But what does a Clockwork Robot do? He can walk around making beeping sounds, and he has lots of shiny buttons and dials, but he feels there must be more to life. He’s tried copying some of the other Minifigures, but he kept falling off his horse, deep-sea diving made his gears rusty, and masked wrestling was definitely a big mistake. Maybe he’ll just try hugging everybody he sees instead!

Notes[]

  • The Clockwork Robot offers a Quest to give him a Wrench. Only then can he be discovered. He appears in front of the clothing shop in the Ninjago City Quarter Two where he spawns.
  • Giant brick-built versions of his head can often be found strewn around Junkyard Jungle biomes. They often contain Treasure of all three varieties.
